This service is a relaxed, friendly service. Most Sundays would see around 50 adults mostly in their 20's and early 30's attending (though of course we welcome people of all ages and stages of life!). We start promptly at 6:30, finish the organised part of the evening by 7:45, then serve supper which lasts as long as you feel like hanging around.
What we do in a service:
- Sing - we love to sing to praise God, and do this with the help of some great bands.
- Pray - prayer is an important part of the life of our church.
- Listen - someone will be sharing relevant teaching on life from the bible. If you have questions, you are welcome to ask the preacher after the service or via the website.
- Communion
Feel free to participate in the service as much or as little as you wish.
Children:
If you have a child under 3 we have a room which is warm, quiet and well suited for feeding/changing/settling babies. Feel free to move there at any time in the service. We don't offer a program for older kids at this service.
Venue Information:
There is lots of parking on the streets around the church.
We meet in the Memorial Hall, which is clearly signed. This is the large red brick building which opens directly onto Denham St.
