WHAT IS Book & brekky club?
Book & Brekky Club aims to foster a love for reading while children enjoy a healthy breakfast before school.
Book & Brekky Club runs from around 7:45am to 8:45am on Tuesday mornings, in Wood Hall (6 Wood Street).
The Club is run by Christ Church Hawthorn. All leaders hold current Working with Children Checks.
WHO CAN ATTEND?
All children of primary school ages are welcome to attend Book & Brekky Club.
For children who attend Hawthorn West Primary School, we invite parents to authorise the Book & Brekky Club leaders to drop their children directly at school upon conclusion of the program at 8:45am, in time for the start of school. We escort the children for the short walk from Wood Hall to school.
Children attending other local schools are also most welcome to participate. Parents will need to provide transport from Wood Hall to school at the conclusion of the program.
WHAT HAPPENS AT Book & brekky club?
