Welcome to Christ Church Hawthorn

We’re a community of people seeking to live radically by the conviction that Jesus has all authority.
If you’re interested to come along, we’ll do our best to welcome you - whoever you are.

church at 9:30am (almost*) every Sunday

* But the Easter week from Sunday 24th to Sunday 31st March is different!
- 22nd to 24th March we’re having a church Weekend Away at Phillip Island, so there will be no 9:30am church in Hawthorn on Sunday 24th. Come along to the TGCC church service at Christ Church at 11am that day.
- Thursday evening 28th, ‘Maundy Thursday’ - a quiet reflective ‘Tenebrae’ service at 8pm.
- Friday 29th March, Good Friday - a reflective church service at 9:30am.
- Sunday 31st March, Easter Day - no 9:30am church service, but a Combined Service at 10:30, celebrating ‘Christ is risen’. Before that, at 10am, an Easter egg hunt for the children.

We meet to encourage one another to trust in Christ and to live for him day by day.

Our Sunday mornings usually also feature a dedicated children’s programme.

Most Sundays our 9:30am church meeting is also accessible on-line by Zoom.
The Zoom meeting I D is 3 3 9 8 1 3 7 0 7 and the password C C H .
And we also aim to live-stream the 9:30am service to our Facebook page at https://www.facebook.com/christchurchhawthorn/
Sometimes the videos on the Facebook page are available to watch after the event, at a time that suits you.

We respect precautions against the spread of Covid and other infections.

Christ church hawthorn

Together making and growing Christ’s disciples.

At Christ Church Hawthorn, we’re passionate about
knowing our Lord Jesus Christ and doing life together in Him.

We seek to live out our Christian faith thoughtfully and practically in community with Jesus at the centre, walking in step with the Spirit. We do this by taking God at his word, in other words by taking the Bible seriously.

We’re a growing Christian community with people in different stages of life. Because Christ first loved us, so we also love and care for one another in the strength that He provides, seeking to live out the fruit of the Spirit.
