Love Jesus. Live Like Jesus. Lead Others to Jesus.

We are a community of ordinary people who want to work together with God to renew and enrich the city of Melbourne by filling it with as many people as possible who live as much like Jesus as possible. Imagine what the city would be like if everyone in it  were as humble, truthful, kind, courageous, loving, wise, powerful and compassionate as Jesus! This is what God wants for the city, and this is what we want to work towards as a church.

After 6 years of ministry at Christ Church, Mark and Margo, along with Oliver and Freya, have accepted a call from the parish of Trinity, Streetsville, in Toronto, Canada for Mark to become their new Rector (Vicar). Their final Sunday will be on June 20, at a combined service at 10 am, followed by lunch together. 

We as a church have great confidence that God in His sovereignty has a great new Vicar in mind for Christ Church. The process of discovering this person will be the task of the "Incumbency Committee". This is made up of 3 elected members from Christ Church (Andrew Tripe, Sarah Wilson and Mark Greenwood) who will work with a number of members from the Diocese of Melbourne (head office). They will consult with the parish, develop a "success profile" for the role, and then seek to find and recruit the person who is best suited to lead Christ Church into its next season of growth. 

As this process continues, our mission as a church goes on. God is still the same, the needs of our City are still the same, our vision, values and strategy are the same. So join us as we build a great church, with a great future, following a great God, serving a great city!
